SIMPSON (Dounie, Edderton) - The family of the late John George (Iain) would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy following his sad passing. Special thanks to Tain and district nurses and doctors, Macmillan nurses and Marie Curie nurses for their care in the last weeks. To Mairi Urquhart & Son Funeral Directors, for their professional and sensitive handling of arrangements and to Susan Foubister for a wonderful reading of the celebration of Iain's life. Also to all those who attended the service at the farm steading and kindly donated £771 to the RNLI and the RSABI. Not forgetting Lowecroft Catering who provided refreshments at Dounie after the service.
ROSS (Linside) - Rona and family would like to thank all family and friends for the cards, flowers, kind messages of sympathy, support and all who came to pay their last respects to David at Invershin Cemetery. They would like to thank everyone for their kind donations to be shared between Creich Surgery and East Sutherland district nurses. Thanks to The Reverend Carl Weidner for his comforting service and to Alastair Rhind for the compassionate funeral arrangements. David, forever in our hearts.
FRASER - Mairi, Kathleen, Kenneth and family would like to thanks all family, friends and neighbours for their expressions of sympathy, cards and flowers following the sad loss of Ian, a much loved husband, dad, father-in-law, grandad and great-grandad. MELVILLE - John would like to thank all family, friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy and the cards, emails and phone calls received after the recent sad loss of Mary-Ann. Thanks to Dr Roberts and the ambulance service for their help and support; to John and William of Golspie Undertakers and Rev. Eric Paterson for the assistance and professional funeral arrangements. SHELLEY (Golspie) - Jane, Hugh, Bruce and family wish to thank all friends and neighbours for their many kind messages and expressions of sympathy and support following the recent passing of their mum, Anne Ellen Shelley (formerly The Hollies, Main Street, Golspie). Special thanks to the staff at Seaforth House, Golspie for the care they gave to her, which did so much to extend her life and improve the quality of her final years. MACKENZIE - (Brora). Sandra and family would like to thank everyone for the kind messages and cards they have received following the death of Christina. Special thanks to Rev. Lorna Tunstall and Rev. Ian McCree for the comforting service at Clyne Church, Syd Barnett for the beautiful music and the funeral director, Richard Sutherland. All donations received will go to Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS). We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all friends, neighbours, district nurses, home carers and O.T. for all the wonderful support, without which Chrissie's wish of remaining in the comfort of her own home and close to the late George would not have been possible.

Duncan MacPherson for their kind support during this sad time.
McGETTIGAN - (Oykel/Lairg) Ali, Duncan, Ross, Lottie, Charlotte, Don and families would like to express their heartfelt thanks for all the help, kindness and love shown to them over the last number of weeks, before, and since, losing Lisa. Thank you to those who braved the snow to pay their last respects at the roadside as the funeral cortège passed and to those who were able to join them at the graveside for a service of thanksgiving for the life of Lisa. Special thanks to the Rev. Kenny Ross for his very personal and sensitive words, Chisholm Urquhart who led us as Presenter, Alasdair Rhind, Funeral Directors, for his professional service and guidance, the staff on Ward 5A, Raigmore Hospital, the doctors and nurses at Lairg Medical Centre and to those who kindly donated to the collection of £1843 for Ward 5A, Raigmore Hospital. Lastly, we would like to thank all those who have given so generously on the Corriemulzie JustGiving page in memory of Lisa. There are no words that can express our gratitude to those who donated and left their personal messages and to all the anonymous donators who we will never know. Lisa was the heart of our family and the logistics of how we move on as a family from here is not easy. Lisa's memorial fund will go towards looking after Duncan, Ross and Lottie in the future and we know in time, as the years pass, it will be a comfort to them to be able to read your messages and know that their mam was an incredibly special person. We cannot thank you enough.
PATERSON (Brora) - The family of the late Bella Paterson wish to extend their sincere thanks to all for the kindness, condolences and support they have received; all the cards, flowers and messages of comfort, and to family and friends who attended. Also thanks to Rev. Eric Paterson for his wonderful service; Richard, Tracey and Angus for their warm help and support; Jenna who played Mam's beautiful music; also Kaelen, Bella's great-grandson, for videoing the service for absent family. We also send sincere gratitude and appreciation to all staff at The Meadows; we will be forever grateful for the care and love they gave our darling mam and for the support and friendship we received as a family; we can't thank them enough.
