GORING (Rogart) - His wife Patricia and the rest of the family would like to thank friends and neighbours for their cards, messages and flowers, expressing sympathy following Peter's death. They were a source of comfort and support at this sad time. Special thanks are expressed to doctors Roberts and Dunbar and the medical team of dedicated and caring district nurses who made it possible for him to end his days at home with his wife. Thanks also go to the undertaker Richard Sutherland for his professional, efficient and sympathetic handling of the funeral arrangements, including refreshments in Rogart Hall provided by staff of the Stag's Head, Golspie. Also, Hilary Gardner is to be thanked for the words of comfort and the dignified manner in which she conducted the funeral service held at St Callan's Church, Rogart and thanks too, to those of you who were in the congregation, for your support and donations to Cancer Research a total of £171.00 was raised. Finally, thanks to Maisies Daisies for providing the beautiful flowers for the occasion.

GRAY - The family of the late Elizabeth D. Gray would like to thank friends and neighbours for their expressions of sympathy on Elizabeth's passing. Thanks also to George Murray, undertaker, for his work and understanding, and to the Rev. Roddy Macrae for the touching and comforting service. To all who donated to Cambusavie Patients Comfort Fund, heartfelt thanks; the sum of £465 was passed to the hospital.

GRAY (Maryburgh) - Isobel, Gillian, Lyndsey and grandsons would like to thank all their family, friends and neighbours for their messages, cards and flowers following the passing of Billy. They have given them great comfort at this sad time. Many thanks to the staff at Invergordon County Hospital for the care and kindness shown to Billy and also the support given to themselves during Billy's short stay. GUNN (Dornoch) - The family of the late Molly would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the kind expressions of sympathy and love shown to them in so many ways following their sad loss. QUINN (Lairg) - Liz and the family would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy and love received following their recent sad loss of John. Grateful thanks to all the doctors and nurses at Migdale Hospital, Bonar Bridge for all their kind care and support. Heartfelt thanks to Fr. MORRISON - Terry, Stuart and Jody would like to thank relatives, friends and neighbours for their comforting messages of sympathy by way of cards, flowers and visits after the sudden passing of Ian, a loving husband, dad and grampa. Grateful thanks go to the ambulance crew, the firemen and the ICU for their care for Ian. Many thanks go to David Ross, of Mairi Urquhart & Son for his kindness and guidance, and to Lorna Clarke for her fitting eulogy. They are especially grateful to Tricia and Susan for playing Ian's favourite fiddle tunes, and to the Royal Golf Hotel for the splendid tea. Finally, they are very grateful to his friends who came from all over to say goodbye and gave so generously to Myeloma UK, with donations totalling £1,089. Greatly missed.

MACLEOD - The family of the late Cathie (Badnabay) would like to thank relatives and dear friends for the love, support, cards and kind thoughts following the loss of their dearest mother. They took great comfort from those who came from near and far to pay their last respects. Sincere thank you to the Rev. Andrew Fraser for his comforting service; to Mairi Urquhart & Son funeral directors for their efficient services, especially Suzee for her kindness and understanding towards them. MACKAY - The family of the late Norma Mackay would like to thank all those who attended her funeral, both in person and online. They are grateful to Rev Lorna Tunstall for leading the service, Mr Iain Macdonald for speaking in the church and Rev Howard Stone at the cemetery; Mr Rob Smith for playing the organ, the Belgrave Hotel for catering and Alasdair Rhind, funeral directors, for their attention to every detail. WILSON (North Kessock/Dornoch) - Ellen and the family would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy and love received following their recent sad loss of Fraser. Heartfelt thanks to all fellow elders and congregation of Dornoch Cathedral for the kindness shown and to pipers Graham Grant and Lewis Shand for their sensitive playing. MURRAY - The family and friends of the late Minnie Murray wish to express their sincere thanks to everyone who attended Dornoch Cathedral for the service of remembrance for Minnie. A special thank you to Rev. Carol Anne Porter for conducting the service in such a special manner. A very special thank you to the manager, her depute and all the staff in Seaforth House, Golspie (past and present) for their dedicated and loving care of Minnie in the last few years; to G & R Sutherland, Brora for their handling of the funeral arrangements and also to the Trentham Hotel for their catering. Donations for Seaforth House in Minnie's memory amounted to £167.80p.

MACKINTOSH (Embo) - The family of the late John Gilbert Mackintosh of Embo would like to extend thanks to the many people who sent expressions of sympathy following the loss of their father and grandfather. Heartfelt thanks are due to carers Evelyn and Kirsteen, to all the nurses and staff at Migdale Hospital who cared for John so lovingly and well in the last weeks of his life and who were also so very kind to his family; especial thanks to the Rev. Carol Anne Porter for her pastoral care and for the wonderful tribute and comforting service held in Dornoch Cathedral; to the Lairg Gaelic Choir for their very moving and uplifting Gaelic invocation; to all those who attended from near and far, for raising their voices and singing Grannie's Heilan' Hame one last time for John. Grateful thanks to Willie Fraser for piping the Mackintosh Lament and other grand tunes as we accompanied John on his last journey through Dornoch. Thanks also to The Embo Trust for allowing us to use the hall and to the Embo Café for closing in order to allow us to host the funeral tea. A wonderful spread was provided by Kenny Mackay and his staff from the Coach House in Dornoch. Stephen Mackintosh provided the livestream from the cathedral to allow all those who could not attend in person to join in with us, no matter where they were. The beautiful floral tributes were provided by Sandra from The Flower Shop in Tain and the barley sheaf from Ian Crisp. Suzee McClenaghan of Mairi Urquhart & Son deserves a special mention for making everything run so smoothly and professionally. Lastly, thanks to all who contributed so generously to Urras Euraboil (The Embo Trust). The sum of £1104.46 was raised.

SUTHERLAND - The family of the late Bunty Sutherland, Brora, would like to thank all relatives and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy. Thanks to all carers for their support and kindness, heartfelt thanks to the Reverend Lorna Tunstall for her comforting and uplifting service, to Richard and Tracy Sutherland for their kind and caring arrangements, also to Gillian, the piper, and the Royal Marine Hotel. Donations to SSCPA amounted to £179.30.

MACKENZIE (North Lamburn / Heathmount, Tain) - Kirsty, Mairi, and their families would like to thank all relatives, friends, neighbours and work colleagues for their kind expressions of sympathy, love and prayerful support following their sad loss of Ruairidh.
