Singer and songwriter Fifidiny to perform at Eden Court’s Under Canvas summer festival





A young singer-songwriter who grew up in Lairg but now lives in Edinburgh, will be performing at this year’s Under Canvas summer festival at Eden Court, Inverness.

Fifidiny Greasley, who has Madagascan roots, is making waves in the Scottish music scene with her unique blend of electro-pop andalternative Afrobeats sounds.

She will take to to the Under Canvas stage next Friday, August 22. The festival takes place in tents.

After leaving Golspie High School in 2010, Fifidiny studied musical performance at Alness College for two years , winning an award for songwriting and having her demo song Broken Hearted featured on Moray Firth Radio.

She has won two Proudly Black and Scottish awards, which celebrate excellence, diversity and achievement within Scotland’s black community.
