The Highlands is one of Scotland's worst hot-spots for drink-driving, new data has revealed as police gear up for their annual festive crackdown.

Police are urging members of the public to be vigilant as a group of scammers have been reported to be operating in Ross-shire and Sutherland.

He has been named as Ross MacGillivray from Inverness.
