SATURDAY, JANUARY 27
Walk
Timespan Museum and Arts Centre in Helmsdale is holding the first of a series of walks on Saturday from 11.30am-12.30pm. Meet at Timespan at 11.20am.
The walk to the Emigrant’s Monument and around Castle Park starts and finishes at Timespan and will be led by a trained volunteer. Along the way, local stories will be shared and participants will engage in mindfulness exercises.
Following the walk, a short films entitled ‘Coronation Celebrations in Helmsdale and Golspie, 1937’ will be screened in Timespan. If you require help with accessibility, ring 01431 821327.
Quiz Night
Quiz night at Assynt Leisure Centre, Lochinver, on Saturday 7pm-10.30pm. Teams of four. £5 per person. Families welcome. Email: assyntleisure@gmail.com to reserve a table. A fundraiser for the leisure centre.

Live Music
The Royal Marine Hotel in Brora is hosting the Johnny Cash Duo in the Garden Room on Saturday. The duo will play from 8pm-11pm. Bar food available. Free entry.
