Exhibition

Head to the newly renovated Rogart Mart which is hosting the Letters to the Earth exhibition along with associated workshops. Read our full story to see exactly what is on offer. The exhibition runs until Sunday.

Traditional Music

Strathy Village Hall will be rocking tonight when Duncan Chisholm and Hamish Napier bring their Highland Halls tour to the venue.

Caithness and Sutherland Provincial Mod

The Caithness and Sutherland Provincial Mod is taking place at Farr High School at Bettyhill tomorrow. A delight to the eye and the ear, this festival of traditional music and culture is guarateed to set toes tapping.

Car boot sale

Who doesn’t love a car boot sale? See what you can find amongst the car boots at Dornoch Community Centre tomorrow 9.30am-12.30pm. Free entry; £5 a stall. Refreshments and bacon rolls.

Auction sale

Auctions are always fun to watch and you might bag yourself a few bargains at Helmsdale and District Highland Games’ fundraising auction sale at Helmsdale Community Centre from 3pm tomorrow.

Index Cantorum

Choral Group Index Cantorum performs informally at Dornoch Cathedral in the late afternoon/early evening tomorrow. The event is described as an “open rehearsal or pop-up concert”. Just wander into the cathedral and hopefully you will catch them.
