Learning centre puts together programme of festive workshops and sing-a-long to coincide with Lairg's Winterfest

Lairg and District Learning Centre has put together a programme of festive workshops and activities to coincide with the village's Winterfest on Saturday, Decmber 9.

Workshops include making Christmas baubles, digital Christmas cards, wicker stars and snowman ornaments and candlesticks from wood.

The centre welcomes Lizzie McDougall and the Highland Story Quilts for a Wonderland of Festive tales as part of Scotland's Big Story Ripple.

The programme will conclude with a festive community sing-a-long in Lairg Community Centre from 3.30pm to 4pm

Booking is essential for the workshops as places are limited but no booking is required for the storytelling and sing-a-long.
