Ronnie passed away peacefully, in the excellent care of the staff at Migdale Hospital, Bonar Bridge, on Thursday, 12th September, 2024, aged 87 years, with his loving family by his side. Ronnie, dearly loved husband of Margaret, treasured dad and stepfather of Claire, Adam, Rachel and Steven, much loved father-in-law of Ryan, Emma and Lisa, adored grandpa of Cora, Elsie, Alister and Andrew, dear brother to Mina and the late Geordie and a great friend to many. FORBES (Dornoch). Charles Robert Sutherland Forbes (Charlie) passed away peacefully, with his loving family by his side, on Wednesday, 11th September, 2024, aged 82 years. CHRISTIE William (Bill), beloved husband of the late Margaret (Bunty), formerly of Dornoch, passed away peacefully, at Perth Royal Infirmary on Friday, 30th August, 2024.

PATERSON It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Karen Elizabeth Paterson, aged 60 years, who passed away on 14th July, 2024. A devoted mother to Liam, a much loved sister, auntie and friend to many, always in our hearts and you will never be forgotten. GILLIES (nee Mackenzie) (Dhunan, Culkein, Stoer). Peacefully, at her home in Stornoway, on Monday, 15th July, 2024, with her family by her side, Barbara Ann Gillies (nee Mackenzie), aged 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Calum Gillies, Stornoway. Much loved sister of Ella and the late Ishbel, Jemima, Angie, Donald and Alistair and dear sister-in-law of Ellen. A cherished mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and friend. Her heart was always at Dhunan, her beautiful home in North West Sutherland. Sadly missed.
