Clachnacuddin have been awarded home advantage in the North of Scotland Cup final after a change was made to the venue.

The Lilywhites had earned their way through to the showcase against Brora Rangers on Saturday October 1, with Lossiemouth's Grant Park earmarked as the host venue.

However, after consultations between the clubs and the North of Scotland Football Association, the decision has been made to move the final to Grant Street Park in Inverness – the Lilywhites' home ground.

It is hoped the move will allow as many supporters as possible to attend, with the travel time for Cattachs fans almost halved.

This year is the third in-a-row that Brora have contested the cup final, after losing last year to Rothes but beating Caley Thistle's youngsters in the 2018/19 season after a year out because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
