The past week, on the Kyle of Sutherland, two cracking fish have been landed on the fly. The first came to Brian Poe, and weighed an estimated 24lbs, while the second was landed by Alan Donaldson, and weighed an estimated 20lbs. Although the Kyle season was very slow to start, they are now most certainly "out of the blocks" and with the arrival of the grilse any day soon, the prospect of some good sport is inevitable.
