Brora Rangers lost their first game of the league season.

Brora Rangers suffered a heavy defeat in their opening game of the Highlands and Islands League campaign at Dudgeon Park.

The score was only 2–0 at half time but Buckie ran riot in the second half.

Alena Gardiner, Milly Findlay and Lorna Young each scored doubles for the visitors.

Gemma Geddes, Rheo Laurenson, Emma McAuslan, Abbie Marshall and Rebecca McMillan also found the net in a ruthless performance by Buckie.

Brora Rangers head to Inverness next Sunday to take on defending champions Clachnacuddin.

Helmsdale outfit Sutherland, who won their first match of the campaign 5–1 at Nairn St Ninian last week, host Caithness at Couper Park next Sunday.
