Sutherland League trio fight for place in Highland Amateur Cup third round

Three North West Sutherland League teams will battle for a place in the third round of the Highland Amateur Cup.

Lochinver head to Halkirk to face High Ormlie Hotspurs.

Golspie Stafford are off to Ross-shire to face Fortrose and Rosemarkie.

Lochbroom head to Wick to face Staxigoe United at Upper Bignold.

They will look to join Lairg Rovers have moved into the third round of the Highland Amateur Cup after they defeated Barra 3–1 in Uig last weekend.

Rovers secured their progression in the tournament thanks to goals from James Ross, Adam Mackay and Miller Mackay.

Ally Campbell got on the scoresheet for Barra.
