They have struggled at times this season in the third tier of Scottish women's football, only winning four of their 11 matches in the Championship South.

Ties will be played on Sunday, January 9.

Sutherland progressed to the third round of the competition after walkovers against Championship North outfit Grampian in the second round and Bishopton Girls in the first.

Even before that, Sutherland had to play in the preliminary round against fellow Highlands and Islands League outfit Orkney, winning 2–1 away from home.
