Royal Dornoch Golf Club named best in Highlands in Golf World Scotland Top 100 list

Royal Dornoch Golf Club has been ranked the top golf course in the Highlands in the latest Golf World Scotland Top 100 rankings.

The Sutherland links was named fourth overall for the second year running, behind St Andrews (Old) at number one, Turnberry (Ailsa) second and Muirfield third.

Skibo Castle moved up one place in the rankings into 12th.

Castle Stuart came in at 16th, down five from the 2019 rankings.

Nairn Golf Club fell 10 places to 25th, one place above Brora Golf Club who moved up five places to 26.

Boat of Garten is down seven places to 34th with Fortrose and Rosemarkie remaining in the top 50 moving three places up to 47.

Golspie moved up one place to 55th with Spey Valley up nine to 58th.

Durness is a new entry at 65th with Tain moving down one place to 69th.

Nairn Dunbar move down 17 places to 79 with Grantown-on-Spey down 38 places to 84.

Dornoch Struie course is a new entry at 95,
