Title chasing Sutherland will continue their campaign when they welcome Clachnacuddin to Couper Park in Helmsdale.

Meanwhile, Brora Rangers are travelling to Thurso to face Caithness in a bottom of the table clash.

Sutherland are five points behind league leaders Buckie and have played a game more, knowing that victory will be vital to keeping their hopes realistically alive.

Meanwhile, Brora Rangers will go into the second half of the campaign looking to pick up their first point of the season.

This week, it was announced that Kirkwall City have pulled out of the Highlands and Islands League, halfway through the campaign.

The Orkney outfit, who were one of the original members of the women’s league, announced the decision to pull out of the competition on Tuesday.

All the results involving Kirkwall City, who were in eighth place in the nine team league, have been ruled void with all goals for and against being amended too.

As a result the Highland and Islands League has been reduced to eight teams for the remainder of the season.

A statement from Kirkwall City on their social media account said it was a decision that they did not take lightly

However, the club will continue its youth set up and look to re-establish its senior team in some form in the future.

The club said: “It’s with sadness we need to announce that we’ve withdrawn from the remainder of this season.

“Our senior sessions are cancelled until we decide what we want to do going forward but our youth sessions are unaffected by this, they will continue as normal.”

“It was great being part of the league for a third season, and we’re disappointed at having to withdraw from the second half of games, but we’ll hopefully sort something for some more games in future.”
