Snowfall hits midweek North Caledonian League card as Golspie v Thurso is postponed

Tonight's planned North Caledonian League meeting between Golspie Sutherland and Thurso is the latest football match to fall foul of midweek snowfall across the north.

With King George V Park snowbound, the home club confirmed the postponement to the league this afternoon.

A new date for the fixture will be arranged in due course.

The postponement follows earlier news that Brora Rangers' trip to play Strathspey Thistle in the Highland Football League had been postponed due to snow.
