Scourie push Inverness Athletic all the way but suffer from late blitz

Inverness Athletic left it late to secure victory against bottom of the table Scourie who are still looking for their first point of the campaign.

It took the hosts until midway through the second half when Luke Mackay found the net to give them the lead.

The Sutherland visitors battled hard for an equaliser, but Athletic killed off the match with three goals in the last 10 minutes from Ruaridh Patience, Paul Gair and an own goal.

Inverness Athletic are now one point behind league leaders Nairn County with three matches remaining.
