They will be one of three new teams along with Loch Ness and Nairn County (A) who will enter North Caledonian League Division Two.

Kinlochbervie manager Tony Reynoldson launched the bid to enter the team into the league.

Due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, the North Caledonian League will split into two divisions for one season only.

As well as their fellow newcomers, Scourie will play in the second division with Sutherland clubs Bunillidh Thistle and Bonar Bridge, Ross-shire outfit Alness United who return after a year out and Inverness Athletic.

In Division One, Golspie Sutherland will be joined by Invergordon, Halkirk United, Orkney, St Duthus and Thurso who finished in the top six in the North Caledonian League.
