Kinlochbervie duo take medals at North championships

Coming from a small school, and with it being the first time the school had taken part in the championships, the main aim of the day was to enjoy the experience of being involved in the event.

Despite the drizzle, an amazing day was had by S4 pupil Sine Jones and S5 pupil Adam McKenzie.

Sine came away with a silver medal in the girls’ under-17 Triple Jump, and Adam won bronze in the high jump and silver in the shot putt, again in the under-17 category.

This was a fantastic achievement for them and for the school.
