Kinlochbervie athletes are in top form at Ross Sutherland Athletics Championships

FIVE pupils from Kinlochbervie High School took part in the Ross-Sutherland Athletics Championships in Inverness.

The pupils were taking part in 12 events across three different age groups which included S1, Under 15 and Over 15.

Kyle Campbell was the star performer for Kinlochbervie as the S1 pupil won the gold medal in Discus.

Teacher Heather Paterson said: “The level of competition was fantastic and there were some amazing performances, we were delighted to leave Inverness with nine top three finishes in all the field event our pupils competed in.

“It was a fantastic day organised by the PE staff at Dingwall Academy with the help of their senior leaders and staff from other schools competing.”
