Green section winners were Angus Mackenzie, Angus Mackay and Liz Payne from the home club, and blue section winners were the Golspie trio of George Mowat, Robin Colvin and John Mackay.

The home team came out on top in the final, by 19 shots to 11 to lift the trophy.

The Brora club also held their Les Hill Pairs competition recently. Winners were Angus Mackenzie and Margaret Macleod who beat Peter Coull and Jean Dent in the final.

Previously it was the Ida Robertson two-bowl pairs, with winners Alister Macleod and Andy Pascoe beating Tommy Wink and Ann Simpson.
