Isabel celebrates a round of 80

Isabella Wright, Colinsay, Argyle Street, Dornoch, proves you can still be swept off your feet at the age of 80.

She celebrated her milestone birthday last Saturday with an evening buffet and dance for around 80 family and friends at Royal Dornoch Golf Club. A total of £612 was raised for Highland Hospice.

Isabella is a member of Royal Dornoch, as well as Bonar Bridge, Golf Club and is also a keen bowler and bridge player.

She is well known for her energy and love of life. She has two sons and four grandchildren.

One of her sons, Gavin Wright, a businessman and photographer, lives locally and took this picture.

Her other son, Chris, has lived in Thailand for a number of years.
