Highland League frozen out as all matches are called off today

THE Highland League derby clash between Wick Academy and Brora Rangers scheduled for this afternoon has been postponed due to a snowbound pitch.

An inspection was carried out at Harmsworth Park this morning when the pitch was ruled to be unplayable.

All three Highland League matches scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, including Rothes v Strathspey Thistle and Nairn County v Clachnacuddin, have been called off due to snow and ice.

Brora Rangers are scheduled to face Wick Academy on Tuesday, January 3 at Dudgeon Park in Brora at 3pm.
