It looked like it was going to be one-way traffic as Golspie Sutherland took a 3–0 lead after 10 minutes.

Miller Mackay opened the scoring for Golspie after three minutes.

Robbie Murray doubled the hosts’ advantage three minutes later with Adam Sutherland making it 3–0 after just 10 minutes of play.

But Bonar Bridge attempted a comeback and pulled one back in the 31st minute thanks to a strike from Scott MacDonald.

Mackay restored Golspie’s three goal advantage at half time to put them 4–1 up at the break.

Bonar Bridge pulled one back six minutes after the interval.

A strike from Jack Corbett in the 51st minute made it 4–2 and kept the game alive.

But the match was killed off nine minutes from time when Murray scored his second of the game to give Golspie all three points.

Golspie maintain their 100 per cent record in the division after two games with six points.

They are in fourth place, three points behind leaders Inverness Athletic who have played a game more.
