GOLSPIE Sutherland have gone top of North Caledonian League Division One after beating Halkirk United.

Their 3–0 victory, combined with former leaders Invergordon losing 2–0 at St Duthus, has seen Golspie go one point clear with three games remaining.

Ally Macleod put Golspie in the lead after 10 minutes, with Sean Munro doubling their advantage on the hour mark.

Liam Bremner put the game beyond doubt with 15 minutes remaining.

Golspie Sutherland travel to Invergordon next weekend in a top of the table clash.
