The Highland Amateur Cup Committee held a hearing on Tuesday night into the claims after Golspie Stafford made a protest claiming Clachnacuddin Reserves fielded two ineligible players in their match at Grant Street Park on Saturday, July 15.

But after the hearing was due to take place, Highland Amateur Cup social media confirmed last night Clachnacuddin Reserves will play Avoch in the semi final at Culbokie on Saturday. August 5.

The Inverness Courier was unable to contact the Highland Amateur Cup committee today for comment.

The winners between Clachnacuddin Reserves and Avoch will face either Stromness Athletic or Wick Groats who play each other in the other semi final at Back Park in Castletown on Saturday, August 5.

The final will take place at Harmsworth Park, home of Wick Academy on Saturday, August 19.
