East Sutherland Athletics Club athletes run at Brora 10k
EAST Sutherland Athletics Club athletes were out in force at the Brora 10k on Sunday.
However. the men’s and women’s title went to clubs from outside the county as Gordon Lennox from Highland Hill Runners and Catriona Fraser from Inverness Harriers claimed the gold medals.
But there was podium success for East Sutherland Athletics Club.
Blair Mackay capitalised on a good start to finish strongly to take third place in the 10k.
Julie Mackay was first local runner in the female category.
There was success in the 5k for East Sutherland Athletics Club as Reuben Urquhart came out on top and he was followed closely by his dad Gary.
Reuben’s Younger brother Logan, finished strongly in the 3k, as did Vaila Williams.
Maisie Lennox and Audrey Scott finished second and third woman respectively, to complete a successful day for East Sutherland.
