Former Inverness Caledonian Thistle goalkeeper Cameron Mackay has signed for Brora Rangers.

The 27-year-old shot-stopper confirmed yesterday that he would be leaving the Caley Jags after a two-decade association with the club.

He made 38 first team appearances in his time in the Highland capital, and was a substitute when Inverness lifted the Scottish Cup in 2015.

Now though, he will continue his football career in the Highland League with Brora, who were in need of a goalkeeper after Joe Malin retired and Logan Ross’ loan deal from Ross County came to an end.

Dudgeon Park will be familiar surroundings for Mackay, who spent time on loan with the Cattachs in 2017 and 2018.

He has signed a three-year deal with Steven Mackay’s side, and will join when his Inverness contract officially expires later this month.
