Five star Brora Rangers thrash Deveronvale in Banff to move into pole position in Highland League title race

Highland League champions Brora Rangers got their defence of the Highland League off to a rampant start as they went top of the table on goal difference.

Mark Nicolson scored the Cattachs first league goal of the season as he nodded a corner kick into the net.

Andrew Macrae made it 2-0 before he played provider for Paul Brindle who scored Brora's third with a volley in the box.

Dale Gillespie fired home a volley to get a fourth with Brindle scoring a classy lob as the Sutherland outfit rounded off a five star performance.
