Brora Rangers hit double figures as they thrash Strathspey Thistle in Grantown on Spey

BRORA Rangers ran riot against Strathspey Thistle as they found the net 10 times in their Highland League clash on Wednesday night.

Paul Brindle broke the deadlock as he found the net in the ninth minute.

Millar Gamble double Brora's advantage six minutes before half time as the Cattachs went into the break 2-0 up.

But the visitors ran riot in the second half, with Brindle getting his second two minutes after the interval.

Tony Dingwall then made it 4-0 in the 49th minute before getting his second and Brora's fifth in the 57th minute.

Strathspey pulled one back through an Alan Kerr header on the hour mark.

But Brora regained control of the match with Ali Morrison making it 6-1 and Kyle Macleod getting the seventh in the 74th minute.

James Wallace scored with 12 minutes remaining with Kyle Macleod making it nine and Dingwall completing his hat trick from the penalty spot to make it 10.

Brora Rangers return to action on Saturday when they head to Forres Mechanics.
