Brora Rangers suffered a major blow in the defence of their Highland League title as they were hammered by Buckie Thistle at Victoria Park.

The champions found themselves 2–0 down after 28 minutes with goals from Marcus Goodall and Max Barry.

Brora Rangers were then reduced to 10 men when goalkeeper Lenny Wilson was sent off for an off the ball incident.

Jack Murray was allowed a free header from a corner kick to make it 3–0 three minutes after the break before Barry scored his second eight minutes from time.

Kyle Macleod scored a free kick in the 89th minute to complete the rout.

Fourth place Brora Rangers are now six points behind league leaders Fraserburgh and five behnd second place Buckie Thistle.
