Highland League Brora Rangers snap up young Ross County goalkeeper for second loan stint
Ross County goalkeeper Logan Ross is heading back to Brora Rangers for a second loan spell.
The 19-year-old, who signed a new one-year deal with the Premiership club in June, will compete for the number one jersey with the Cattachs’ fit-again stalwart Joe Malin.
Ross made the switch to Dudgeon Park midway through last term, having impressed during an 18-month stint on loan with fellow Highland League side Lossiemouth.
County manager Mackay has spoken in the past in glowing terms of Ross’s potential, praising the impact he has made at Highland level.
Ross had been third choice at the Global Energy Stadium behind Ross Laidlaw and Ross Munro.
His first chance to feature will come on Wednesday, when Brora host Strathspey Thistle on league duty.
