Defender John Pickles has left Brora Rangers after spending seven years with the Highland League club.
It has been announced the 28-year-old from Rendall in Orkney has ended his time at Dudgeon Park with Brora Rangers describing him as a club legend.
Pickles joined the club in 2015 when he was signed by former manager Davie Kirkwood.
He quickly became a fans favourite with the Cattachs and played an instrumental part in the club’s success in league and cup competitions during his seven years.
He was involved in three Highland League title successes in 2015, 2020 and 2021.
He also has two Highland League Cup medals and three North of Scotland Cup medals.
Pickles made the decision to move on from the club to spend more time with his family in Orkney.
Manager Craig Campbell said Pickles had played a vital part in the club’s success during his seven years with Brora Rangers.
He said his dedication to the club was a fine example to other players.
“I would like to thank John for all his commitment and dedication to the club over the years,” he said.
“John is a lovely lad and been superb for us.
“We wish him well and good luck in the future.”
