BRORA Rangers are through to the semi finals of the Highland League Cup after beating Brechin City at Glebe Park.

Dale Gillespie gave Brora the lead from the penalty spot seven minutes before half time before Jordan Macrae doubled their advantage on the hour mark.

Brora Rangers will travel to the winners of the quarter final between Rothes and Fraserburgh in the last four.

In the other semi final, Forres Mechanics or Clachnacuddin will host the winners of Buckie Thistle and Inverurie Locos.
