Young people in Sutherland invited to take part in climate change conference

Highland Council is encouraging young people to help shape their future by getting involved in the Highland Climate Change Conference.

The conference, which is taking place online on Thursday and Friday October 21-22, offers an opportunity for young people to learn more about the climate emergency.

They will hear how they can take action in Highland, and share their views at the associated workshops.

Councillor Trish Robertson, chairman of the climate change working group. said: “Highland Council recognises the creativity, values and energy of young people whose input is vital for continuing climate and ecological action in Highland.”
