Yellow weather warning for the Highlands

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the Highland region.

It is for snow and ice and it is due to end on Wednesday at 10am.

A number of schools in the region have been closed due to the bad weather including three secondary schools, 16 primary schools and 15 nurseries.
