NHS Highland has announced details of a series of winter vaccination clinics in Caithness and Sutherland.

They are all drop-in clinics, so no appointment is necessary. In each case they will run from 2pm to 4pm.

  • Wick Assembly Rooms: January 17; February 8 and 21; March 14 and 25
  • Royal British Legion, Thurso: January 25; February 6 and 27
  • West Church Hall, Dornoch: January 26; February 16; March 7
  • Brora Scout Hall: January 30
  • Lybster Village Hall: January 31
  • North Coast Connection, Tongue: February 14
  • Bonar Bridge Community Hall: February 20; March 19 and 29
  • Fountain Road Hall, Golspie: March 1

NHS Highland said: "As these are drop-in clinics there may be a queue. Our teams will see you as soon as possible. Please be respectful to them and to those around you while you wait.

"Getting vaccinated is the safest and most effective way to protect yourself against the viruses circulating this winter. The flu virus changes yearly, and protection from the Covid-19 vaccine fades over time."
