Water supply cuts reported in Easter Ross and Sutherland communities

Engineers are investigating after communities in parts of Easter Ross and Sutherland reported water outages.

Residents living in the Ardross area began reporting interruption to their supplies at around 7.35am on Wednesday.

And residents in Golspie reported an outage at around 9.20am.

A spokesperson for Scottish Water said: "We are currently on the way to investigate the issues and are aiming to be on site as soon as possible.

"While we investigate, please be aware that you may experience no water supply or low/intermittent water pressure. You may also experience discoloured water.
