WATCH: Highland actress Karen Gillan says she's 'making the leap to tech'

In a teaser video Karen Gillan reveals she is involved in developing a new app.

She gives very little away in the short clip apart from revealing she has been working for some time on the app which is now "gathering momentum and pace" – and calling for followers of a new instagram account fans to give her their input as she continues on the development "journey".

"I am making the leap from acting into tech," she says before making clear that she is not giving up life in front of the camera.

And the Furbie she is accompanied by in the video? Absolutley nothing at all to do with the app!
