A "WALK of Witness" from Ardgay to Bonar Bridge will take place on Good Friday, March 29.

Dornoch Firth Church of Scotland has organised the event between the two communities.

A Walk of Witness imitates the journey that Jesus Christ took carrying his cross through the streets of Jerusalem.

A walk takes the Christian message into the streets and centre of communities.

A similar event was held last year and organisers say that everyone is welcome to take part.

Participants are asked to meet in the car park at Ardgay Church at 10.15am. The walk will end at Creich Church in Bonar Bridge for hot cross buns and tea.

There will be stops at Ardgay, the erratic boulder, the Stones, the Bridge, the Bradbury centre where readings/reflections will take place and then the Church at Bonar Bridge.
