Kyle of Sutherland Development Trust held its last community café of the year in Bonar Bridge Hall this week – serving 74 customers a delicious three-course Christmas lunch of roast turkey with all the trimmings.

Beverley Hill, project manager of the Community Food Stop said: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our volunteers who have helped out at the Community Food Stop Café in Bonar Bridge Hall over the past year: prepping food, cooking and serving customers every Monday, come rain or shine.

"We estimate that during 2019, the volunteers have collectively given up 1650 hours of their free time to serve the community. Some of our volunteers are regular, and never miss a week – others help out when they can. Everyone’s help is very much appreciated.”

The Community Food Stop will re-open on Monday, January 13, and run every Monday from 11.30am - 2pm.
