POLICE have issued an appeal for information after damage to an iconic Ross-shire building.

Four windows of the Strathpeffer Pavilion building were broken on Boxing Day, it is understood, resulting in "a significant cost to repair".

Highland police said: "Information is sought regarding any persons seen within the area around 12.30am on December 26."

Anyone who can provide any further information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting Incident number NE5161-20.

Anonymous tip-offs can also be made to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via the charity's online form.
