UPDATE: Kessock Bridge now closed in both directions

Kessock Bridge is currently closed in both directions due to a police incident.

Traffic Scotland first warned motorists that the section of the A9 was closed at around 1pm today to northbound traffic, but a few minutes later both lanes were closed.

It is not known what action emergency services are taking.
