Kessock Bridge reopened early this morning following a closure last night.

Traffic Scotland said the northbound carriageway was open again by 1.30am.

It was closed at around 8.30pm with police in attendance, due to concern for a person.

Traffic Scotland has also warned motorists at around 3.30am about the weather, stating: "Road users are advised to use caution crossing the A9 Kessock Bridge due to high winds currently affecting driving conditions."
