UPDATE: A9 between Tore and North Kessock remains closed following road crash

UPDATE: A9 now re-opened between North Kessock and Tore

The A9 between Tore and North Kessock – including the Kessock Bridge – remains closed in both directions due to an earlier collision.

Diversions remain in operation with the road being expected to remain closed for some time.

Police Scotland said: "Motorists are advised that the A9 is closed in both directions between North Kessock and Tore, following a road crash in the early hours of this morning.

"Diversions are in place, so please give yourselves extra time for your journey."
