Two men and woman taken to hospital after serious crash on A9 by Dalwhinnie

Police have said that three people were taken to hospital by ambulance after Friday night's serious road accident by Dalwhinnie.

The A9 re-opened at around 1am on Saturday after being closed in both directions for seven hours with diversions in place through the village.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 6.35pm on Friday police were called to a three vehicle road crash on the A9 south of Crubenmore near Cuiach in Badenoch.

"Two men and a woman were taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.

"The road was closed for around seven hours to clear the road of debris.

"Enquiries into the cause of the collision are continuing."

The conditions of the three casualties remains unknown at this time.
