Police arrest two following road crash involving man in Dingwall

Two people have been arrested following a road crash with a pedestrian.

A man (61) is believed to have been hit by two separate vehicles on Sunday evening in the Millbank area of Dingwall.

A man and a woman, both aged 29, have since been arrested by police.

Officers remained in the area this morning (Monday, April 18).

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 29-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man have been arrested in connection with a crash involving a pedestrian.

"The incident happened at 10pm on Millbank Road, Dingwall on Sunday, 17 April, 2022.

"The 61-year-old male pedestrian was injured and was taken to Raigmore Hospital, Inverness for treatment.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
