The Kyle of Sutherland Development Trust treated its band of volunteers to a festive gathering at their community bothy on Wednesday, December 21.
Everyone in attendance enjoyed a chance to relax and mingle over a mug of hot chocolate and cake.
A spokesperson for Ardgay-based charity said: "We would like to say a huge thank you to all KoSDT volunteers.
"Our volunteers work alongside KoSDT staff on many of our projects, such as the Community Café, Food Larder, Community Polytunnel and Community Resilience.
"Our resilience volunteers carry out weekly checks on community defibrillators and also help us with resilience planning.
"Unfortunately, not all of our volunteers could make the get-together due to other commitments but we do have a small gift waiting for them as a thank you for all of their hard work throughout the year."
