Chris Watt and Carol Hutchison, of Out of the Box (Scotland) Ltd held the story telling, songs and games sessions at Tongue Primary School assembly and later at the Friday Fun Club, which is run by volunteers from the Far North Fellowship.

Based in Inverness, Out of the Box was established to share the Gospel using puppetry, song and various other forms of performing and creative arts.

Mr Watt and Ms Hutchison told the story of Daniel and Goliath at the school assembly and the story of Zacchaeus the tax collector - the little man who climbed a tree to see Jesus - at the Friday Fun Club.

Stuart Mingham, of the Far North Fellowship, said: “The children didn’t climb any trees, but they expended plenty of energy with the action songs and games. A great time was had by all. Even the puppets enjoyed it!”

The Friday Fun Club meets at lunch-time on the last Friday of the month during term time in Tongue Village Hall.
