An after school club run by the Far North Fellowship for Tongue Primary School pupils staged a traditional nativity play for the youngsters' families on Friday, November 25.
Stuart Mingham, of the fellowship, said: "It was a bit early for a nativity play, but the club only meets on the last Friday of the month, so we really couldn't wait until December – it would have been too late!
"It also meant that there was no time for extensive rehearsals, but the kids were brilliant and managed with just two practice runs."
Mr Mingham continued: "The event was enjoyed by everyone, spectators and participants alike. As a reward for their hard work, each child got an early Christmas present."
